Cynthia Sutton, President
Cynthia was born in Edmonton Alberta and raised in Saskatoon. Cynthia attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with degrees in Physical Education and Education. After two years teaching in Guyana, South America she became the Program Director at the Moose Jaw YM-YWCA. Her teaching career continued in Guyana, then to Sault Ste Marie where she taught Physical Education and Special Education for the next 20 years. While teaching she volunteered to coach volleyball, basketball, and track and field, convened many city & NOSSA events and for ten years was the Girls’ NOSSA secretary-treasurer. Presently Cynthia volunteers for Christmas Cheer, and as a Board Member and President, for Big Sisters.

Annalisa Rasaiah, President's Designate/Secretary
Annalisa is a practising lawyer in her own firm. She has an extensive background in representing youth and facilitating dispute resolutions. Annalisa has held various Board positions with Legal Aid Ontario and the Algoma District Law Association. Annalisa's interests include playing musical instruments, local charity fundraising initiatives and is able to speak in 'Sign'

Lisa Boissoneau, Treasurer
Lisa is a chartered accountant at BDO with eleven years of accounting experience. She is the mother of two and offers her time to give back to the community. She is looking forward to making positive changes for local youth through Big Sister fundraisers, campaigns, and community events.

Joan Zachary-Curtin, Director
Joan is a graduate of Lakehead University, Library Technology program. She was employed as a Reference Technician with the Thunder Bay Board of Education, the Thunder Bay Public Library, and for 27 years with the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library. She was a supervisor for 20 of those years. She has training in Human Resources, Municipal Management, and Health and Safety, and Marketing.
A mother of three and grandmother of 6, she has always taken an active interest in the youth of this community. She is a member of Lions Club International, a canvasser for Red Shield Appeal, Cancer Society and Alzheimer Society.

Lisa Kenopic, Director
Lisa was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. With a career in Law Enforcement at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Force, Lisa is responsible for overseeing the safety programs that are delivered by the Police Service to the local Elementary Schools. She is also the Media Relations Officer as well as the Community Services/Crime Prevention Unit Supervisor. Over the past several years Lisa also coached several local youth sports teams in our community.
Kim Boudreau, Director
Kim is an Investment Advisor with Community First Credit Union. She brings to the organization experience with marketing and event planning and has been involved with several local non-profit organizations such as the Sault Area Hospital, The Lung Association, Bon Soo, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Rotaryfest. Having a daughter of her own, Kim understands and advocates the importance of strong female mentors in the community. She feels strongly that every child has the potential to achieve great things with the encouragement of someone who believes in and supports them.
